Meet Yoshi – A Loyal Shepherd with a Big Heart!

Hi! My name is Yoshi, and I’m a 5-year-old male German Shepherd who recently came to the Rockwall Adoption Center after my owner could no longer care for me. While change is never easy, I’m handling it with grace and am ready to find my next loving chapter.

I’m a sweet boy who was raised around children, farm life, and even got along with a few outdoor cats. I enjoy being around people. I may be able to live with another dog, but a meet and greet is required to make sure we’re a good fit.

• Neutered

• Microchipped

• Up to date on core vaccines (including rabies)

• Heartworm positive, but treatment is sponsored by Rockwall PAWS

  • This means I will receive lifesaving heartworm treatment at little to no cost to my adopter

  • Staff are happy to answer any questions about heartworms or my treatment plan.

While Yoshi is ready to find a new family, he’s currently facing an additional challenge—he tested positive for heartworms. The good news is that thanks to Rockwall PAWS, Yoshi is eligible to receive lifesaving heartworm treatment at little to no cost to his adopter. The hard part? Heartworm treatment is expensive, and PAWS relies entirely on community donations to make this care possible.
