Meet Princess 

Princess is an approximately 2-year-old female Cane Corso/American Bulldog mix weighing around 56 pounds. She came to the shelter after being surrendered when her previous family was no longer able to financially care for her. Despite a difficult start, Princess is now safe and beginning her journey toward a brighter future.

Princess is a sweet, gentle girl who does well with other dogs, cats, and children. She is still learning basic household routines and is not yet housebroken or crate trained, but with patience, consistency, and love, she has wonderful potential to thrive in a home environment.

Medical Note:
Princess arrived underweight and with open wounds, which are currently being treated and monitored. She will continue to receive care as she heals, and staff will be happy to discuss her condition and ongoing care needs with approved applicants.

Princess’s adoption fee is $125, which includes her spay, microchip, and current yearly boosters. She did test heartworm positive, but thanks to Rockwall PAWS, her heartworm treatment is sponsored, allowing her to begin treatment right away. Heartworm disease is very treatable, and staff are happy to answer any questions about the process or Princess’s treatment plan.
