Mariah is a sweet and social 2 year old husky/lab mix who was originally surrendered to the shelter after her owner passed away and family was unable to give her the care she deserved. You will never see this little lady without a smile on her face! Shortly after her intake at the shelter it was discovered that Mariah was heartworm positive. It wasn't long before a family came along and knew that she was the one for them. Now that she has been adopted, Mariah will need to undergo heartworm treatment so she is able to life the life she fully deserves. If left untreated, heartworms are fatal and a very painful way to go.
