Meet Kaia
Kaia is a 6-year-old female American Bully weighing approximately 43 pounds. She came to the shelter through no fault of her own after her family experienced a change in military orders to a state where her breed is not permitted on base. Due to this unexpected situation, Kaia is now searching for a new forever home.
Kaia is a well-mannered, affectionate girl who does great with other dogs and children. She is both housebroken and crate trained, making her an easy transition into a home environment. Kaia loves spending time with her people and is happiest when she’s receiving attention—especially belly rubs, which are her absolute favorite.
Kaia’s adoption fee is $125, which includes her spay, microchip, and current basic yearly boosters. She did test heartworm positive, but thanks to Rockwall PAWS, her heartworm treatment is fully sponsored, allowing her to begin treatment right away. Heartworm disease is very treatable, and staff are happy to answer any questions you may have about the process or Kaia’s treatment plan.
Kaia is available for adoption through Rockwall Adoptions.
If you’re interested in meeting or adopting Kaia, please submit an adoption application online at:

Once your application is received and approved, RAC staff will reach out to schedule next steps. Kaia is ready to settle back into a loving home—could that be with you?
