Hello, my name is Gunner! I am a sweet 6 year old heartworm positive male Lab mix. Unfortunately, I was surrendered after my previous owner could no longer care for me. I was raised around other dogs, cats, children and am overall a very good boy! I am crate trained and house broken and would make a great addition to your family if you'll have me! I like to refer to myself as 6 years young rather than old. I still have a pretty high energy level and would love to go on adventures with a loving family. I do prefer wearing a harness when going on walks because they can be more comfortable for larger dog like me.   My hobbies include swimming, playing fetch and hanging out with my two legged and four-legged friends!  Fetch is by far my favorite game to play by the way!! I am extremely social dog and love to meet new friends which is why it is suggested that I have a back yard with a sturdy 6ft wooden fence!  I have been looking for my furever home for over 101 days (as of 09/03/22) and counting. So, I am now considered a Diamond Dog at Rockwall Adoptions! I can't wait to find my furever family for multiple reasons but one at the top of my list is heartworm treatment!
