Hello, my name is Genie! I am a female Pit mix approx. 2 years old and weighs around 50 Lbs. I was found off of John King Blvd by the Gene Burton Academy on 06/03/22 and never reclaimed. I am a sweet girl when it comes to people. I would love to be your couch companion! I am shy with other dogs at first and would prefer a calmer more submissive type of dog personality for a companion. With the right four-legged friend I'm sure to come out of my shell in no time! If you have a dog in the family that you think I would get along well with and are interested and adopting me, please bring them out to meet me prior to adoption. I walk well on leash, I behave really well for bathes and absolutely love my people. I'm kind of a big snuggler. I am spayed, microchipped, up to date on my basic boosters and rabies vaccination. I did test positive for heartworms but thanks to donations made to Rockwall PAWS, once I am adopted, I will be able to receive treatment with little or no cost to the adopter. Heartworm's are fatal if left untreated and heartworm  treatment is essential in saving my life! Treatment can cost anywhere from $400-$600 per dog and Rockwall PAWS is a non profit that depends on donations in order to treat heartworm positive dogs like me that are adopted from Rockwall Adoptions!
