Hello, my name is Bertha. I am an approx. 5 year old female English Bulldog mix that weighs approx. 39 lbs. I was found off Horizon/Tubbs in Rockwall on 2/22/25 and never reclaimed. So now I am available for adoption and hoping to find a person or family that has experience with my breed and over all needs. I am big on personal space especially around my face. I do have some vision impairment caused by which makes me a little more cautious with my head and face. My vision impairment is due to chronic dry eye that had gone untreated for a long period of time. Chronic dry eye can be treated easily with eye drops twice a day, but I will need the drops for the rest of my life. Because of my poor vision, I am not suggested in a home with kids under 13 years old. I get along with other dogs, but as always, a meet and greet is suggested prior to adoption if you have other dogs in the home. I walk great on a leash and enjoy going for short brisk walks. I am spayed, current on my rabies, microchipped, and my basic yearly boosters are up to date. I am heartworm positive but thanks to Rockwall PAWS, I will be able to receive treatment for my heartworm disease at little to no cost to my adopters. For more information on my course of treatment or heartworm disease, please feel free to ask staff. If you would like to donate towards the cost of my heartworm treatment, please click on my donate button. Your donations will make it possible to receive heartworm treatment allowing me to finally live the life I was born to live. If you are interested in adopting me, please complete an online application at Adoption Application - Rockwall Animal Adoptions.
My adoption fee is $125
