Hello. My name is Elizabeth, but you can call me Lizzie. I am a 5-year-old female Schnauzer/Terrier mix who weighs around 15 Lbs. I was recently surrendered to the shelter due to my family developing allergies to me and not having the time to continue to care for me. So now, I am available for adoption and hoping to find my furever home soon. I am the sweetest girl! I am a very good lap dog who gets along with kids, cats and most other dogs. Larger dogs intimidate me, so I am best suited for a home that only has small dogs or dogs close to my size. I am crate trained, leash trained and know how to sit on command, but I need more training when it comes to being house broken. I am a very smart girl and can learn, I just need a consistent schedule and a family willing to help teach me. I am spayed, microchipped, current on my rabies vaccination and basic boosters. I did test positive for heartworms but thanks to donations made to Rockwall PAWS, once I am adopted, I will be able to receive treatment with little or no cost to the adopter. Heartworm's are fatal if left untreated and heartworm treatment is essential in saving my life! Treatment can cost anywhere from $400-$600 per dog and Rockwall PAWS is a non profit that depends on donations in order to treat heartworm positive dogs like me that are adopted from Rockwall Adoptions! If you would like to donate towards my heartworm treatment or the treatment of another heartworm positive dog at Rockwall Adoptions, please consider donating today! Your donation will make the difference in saving a life! A life that's worth saving! If you would like information on adoption and adoption fee's please go to www.rockwalladoptions.com
