Meet Dixie! Dixie is a beautiful 2 year old, female, 43 Lbs. Heeler mix who was found on 01/15/2020 off of Crestwood Dr. in Rockwall and never reclaimed. Dixie tested positive for heartworms  at Rockwall Adoptions. Dixie was at the shelter for 43 days before she was finally adopted! Dixie warmed up to her adopters right away and was so excited to finally go home to a family. She is now enjoying life, getting tons of play time and relaxing on comfy blankets in her new home!  In order for Dixie to continue living her best life she will need to be treated for heartworms!
