Chapo is a 5-year-old Pit/Lab mix who was surrendered on 09/05/25 when his owner’s circumstances changed, leaving them unable to give him the time and attention he deserves. Now, Chapo is looking forward to a fresh start with a family of his own.

This friendly, social boy loves people and is always ready for an adventure. According to his previous owner, Chapo is house trained and does well with both kids and other dogs. If you already have a dog at home, a meet-and-greet is encouraged to ensure a perfect match.

• Neutered, microchipped, current on rabies vaccination and boosters

While Chapo has so much love and energy to give, he did test heartworm positive. Thanks to Rockwall PAWS, he will receive treatment at little to no cost for his adopter—giving him the healthy future he deserves.
