Vegas is a bright, playful 1-year-old Pug mix weighing about 26 lbs. He was found on 08/22/25 in Heath near Wyndemere and Kestrel Court with his big buddy, a Great Pyrenees. While no owner ever came forward, Vegas hasn’t let that stop him—he’s ready to bring his smarts, charm, and adventurous spirit to a forever family!

Vegas loves dogs of all sizes and makes friends easily. If you already have a pup at home, a meet-and-greet is encouraged to make sure it’s the perfect fit.

Here’s where he needs a hero: Vegas tested positive for heartworms. Without treatment, this disease can be fatal—but thanks to the support of Rockwall PAWS, Vegas has a fighting chance. His treatment will be provided at little to no cost for his future adopter, but only because of the generosity of donors who make this possible.
