Hi there! My name is Brownie. I am a 3 year old female German Shepherd mix that weighs around 53 lbs. I was recently surrendered to the shelter as my family could no longer take care of me. I am hopeful to find a new family to love! I am an affectionate girl and am very gentle when I jump up for hugs. I love to cuddle and spend time with my humans. I do need a little time to warm up as I have been through some heartache and am learning to open up to people. I enjoy playing and am interested in most toys! Blankets are a must as I enjoy bundling up and hunkering down. It is unknown how I do with other dogs, so a meet and greet is suggested if you have another pet I the home prior to adoption.  I am spayed, microchipped, current on my rabies vaccination, and my basic boosters are to date. I did test positive for heartworms but thanks to Rockwall PAWS, I will be able to receive treatment at little to no cost to my adopters.
